Job Description

Amazon Advertising (ADCI) is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Ad Ops Associate, Ad-Operations to join our global digital marketing squad in a 6-month seasonal virtual role based out of Chennai. This position operates at the intersection of media planning and programmatic execution, focusing on campaign setups, quality assurance checking, and live tracking across Amazon's entire web portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Full-Cycle Campaign QA & Setup: Execute the daily setup, validation, and checklist auditing of digital advertising campaigns across Amazon and its owned sites including IMDb and DPreview.com.
  • Media Plan Creation & Tool Ingestion: Formulate accurate media blueprints, manage raw data parameters within proprietary advertising consoles, and keep tracking sheets updated.
  • Live Execution Auditing: Conduct extensive verification checks using standardized checklists, verifying third-party reporting metrics, and generating live confirmation screenshots for account teams.
  • User Experience Protection: Monitor active placements on live interfaces to confirm formatting correctness, troubleshoot delivery exceptions, and maintain high visual presentation boundaries.
  • Productivity Metrics Alignment: Work under targeted supervision to achieve strict daily speed and accuracy parameters, reporting directly to the Operations Manager to minimize error rates.
  • Process Improvement Identification: Evaluate current campaign trafficking workflows, identify redundant manual checkpoints, and suggest automation refinements to optimize delivery turnaround times.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Educational Background: Holds a valid Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a clear focus on structural data validation.
  • Core Technical Toolkit: Operational proficiency with **Microsoft Office applications** (Advanced Excel formatting, Word, and Outlook communication threads) combined with a natural comfort navigating cloud-based media software.
  • Preferred Capabilities: Foundational familiarity with online advertising concepts, programmatic Demand-Side Platforms (DSP), or ad server configurations is a strong plus.
