Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Anaplan Business Intelligence Engineer I to join the Global Finance Solutions (GFS) organization in Bengaluru or Hyderabad . This high-visibility enterprise planning role focuses on building intricate forecasting models and head-count capacity planning systems to support global Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) finance stakeholders .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Anaplan Solution Architecture: Design, configure, and continuously improve complex forecasting models from scratch to guide strategic resource allocations globally .
• Capacity Plan Generation: Create optimal workforce capacity models for high-volume Finance Operations, striking the ideal balance between customer experience standards and operational cost efficiency .
• Data Pipeline Engineering: Extract and aggregate massive datasets from cloud warehouses using SQL and Python scripting to develop data modeling layers .
• ETL & Data Warehouse Interlock: Design data warehouse schemas and automated ETL tracks, collaborating across Data Engineering (DE) teams using Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL environments .
• BI Dashboard Visualization: Formulate interactive executive dashboards and monitor site performance metrics using Amazon QuickSight or Tableau .
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as technical project lead for medium and large-scale continuous improvement sprints across international operations towers .
• Executive Narrative Reporting: Deliver clean status updates, highlight operational exceptions, and present capacity risk logs directly to senior management .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Anaplan Tool Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on model building experience alongside an active Certified Anaplan Model Builder credential .
• Data Systems Analytics: 2 or more years spent querying, processing, and analyzing complex datasets inside relational database engines .
• Software & Scripting Foundation: 1+ years of professional software development background, including data manipulation via Python scripting .
• Statistical Toolkit Literacy: Demonstrated capability utilizing statistical analysis software engines such as R, SAS, or Matlab to process demand trends .
• Preferred Value-Adds: Foundational familiarity mapping cloud architectures over AWS components (including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift) .
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written technical storytelling habits, strong professional backbone to present metrics to leadership, and great attention to detail .
