Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

Groww is looking for an Assistant Manager – Internal Audit to join its Bengaluru team. This role goes beyond traditional audit checks; you will dive deep into the company’s digital lending, broking, and wealth‑management products, using data‑driven techniques and emerging AI tools to spot risks early and drive practical improvements. You will own audits end‑to‑end, collaborate with business leaders, and present findings to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Groww’s products, systems and processes across Digital Lending, Broking and Wealth Management.
• Apply data analytics, professional scepticism and Gen AI tools to identify anomalies and emerging risks.
• Translate RBI, SEBI and stock‑exchange regulations into effective audit procedures.
• Plan and execute risk‑based audits, determine root causes and drive sustainable remediation.
• Leverage automation, Agentic AI and platforms such as n8n, Claude Code or Cursor to make audits continuous and faster.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships, challenge constructively and turn findings into business improvements.
• Communicate key risk themes to senior leadership and the Audit Committee while building institutional knowledge.
• Stay ahead of evolving risks, technology and audit practices, bringing an outside‑in perspective.

Required Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably cleared in first attempt, with up to 2 years post‑qualification experience in Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Finance or Risk.
• Experience in fintech, BFSI or technology‑driven startups is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with data and connect insights.
• Interest in AI, data analytics and automation tools (e.g., n8n, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and constructive challenge abilities.
• High ownership, resilience and comfort in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
