Automation Engineer L3

Wipro Limited is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Automation Engineer L3 specializing in Tools Development and Software Engineering to design, program, simulate, and optimize test automation frameworks at our technology delivery center in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Automation Framework Architecture: Build, scale, and maintain horizontal automation frameworks and reusable code libraries across diverse business vertical applications to optimize product delivery times.
• Test Engineering & Execution: Formulate extensive technical specifications, script functional/non-functional test scenarios, and execute robust validation strategies covering performance, regression, and system interdependencies.
• Agile Delivery Collaboration: Work within Agile sprint mechanics to translate product backlogs and user stories into structured test automation backlogs with distinct validation acceptance criteria.
• Defect Management & Tooling: Trace application bugs throughout the lifecycle, compile structural mitigation logs, design customized automated test tools, and handle end-to-end root-cause analysis to ensure error-free code deployments.
• CI/CD & Backend Programming: Partner with development teams to enhance continuous deployment environments, formulate backend database programs for key pipelines, and strictly verify compliance against enterprise coding standards.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven software engineering experience with a clear track record in product test automation workflows.
• Core Technical Competencies: Mandatory foundational knowledge in core software engineering tools development, database logic, application stack integration, and quality assurance principles.
• Core Soft Skills: Clear cross-functional communication, exceptional analytical troubleshooting, adaptability to project plan changes, and strong stakeholder alignment.
