AWS Developer

Infosys Limited is seeking a highly skilled and performance-driven AWS Developer to join our elite Data & Analytics Unit in Bangalore. This comprehensive data engineering position focuses on architecting automated ingestion frameworks, optimizing modern cloud data warehouses, and enforcing robust data governance mechanisms across the Amazon Web Services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Pipeline Architecture & ETL/ELT: Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines on the AWS platform to securely ingest, parse, and transform diverse structured and unstructured data assets.
• Workflow Orchestration & AWS Glue: Build and optimize complex data workflows utilizing AWS Glue, managing Glue Studio jobs, automated crawlers, and serverless data catalog integrations to ensure code reusability and operational reliability.
• Data Warehousing & AWS Redshift: Administer and scale cloud data warehouses using AWS Redshift, driving database schema design, data partitioning strategies, cluster management, and deep query performance tuning.
• Data Quality & Governance: Enforce strict validation rules, automatic metadata cataloging, and comprehensive system monitoring scripts to preserve the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of enterprise datasets.
• Cloud Security Adherence: Apply data governance best practices, including fine-grained Access Control (IAM), column-level encryption standards, and compliance tracking across cloud data layers.
• Troubleshooting & Infrastructure Optimization: Perform root-cause diagnostics to quickly resolve production pipeline bottlenecks, optimize runtime compute resources, and minimize overall data processing operational costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data analytics and business intelligence squads to translate analytical requirements into optimized data models, while contributing to team-wide reusable framework documentation and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven hands-on track record operating as a Cloud Data Engineer or AWS Developer with a clear history of delivering end-to-end data systems.
• Core Technical Toolkit: Advanced technical command over AWS-native data services, AWS Database platforms, continuous workflow scheduling, and optimized SQL database scripting.
• Preferred Credentials: Holding active platform certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Developer is highly advantageous.
• Core Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking skills, clear technical communication attributes to bridge cross-functional requirements, and the capacity to operate dynamically within an agile delivery environment.
