AWS DevOps Lead

Infosys Limited is seeking a highly skilled and strategic AWS DevOps Lead to drive infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and secure cloud deployment architectures within our Application Development and Maintenance service line in Pune. This leadership role combines technical domain mastery in AWS IoT Platforms with hands-on build and release management across enterprise cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation: Design, establish, and optimize secure end-to-end continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines leveraging orchestration suites like Jenkins and container technologies like Docker.
• Cloud Release Engineering: Manage automated code compilation, validation, and infrastructure deployment across complex cloud platforms, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud environments and foundational exposure to Azure DevOps tools.
• Configuration Management & Scripting: Author high-performance automation code and deployment baselines using Python, Bash (Shell), and PowerShell scripting; direct branching, merging, and version governance using source controller tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, and SVN.
• Architecture & Quality Assurance: Support strategic requirements elicitation, map application architecture blueprints, and perform strict design and code reviews. Act as a hands-on technical lead to resolve production blocks and minimize system downtime.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a primary technical advisor to interface with internal engineers, cross-functional delivery streams, and external stakeholders, providing post-implementation support and driving transition frameworks throughout the SDLC.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 5 to 9 years of robust technical track record operating as a DevOps, Build, or Release Engineer, possessing the domain maturity to define, optimize, and scale configuration management policies.
• Core Domain Mastery: Comprehensive operational understanding of Retail environments, encompassing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems specifically tailored for the Food & Beverages vertical.
• Technical Competencies: Advanced practical expertise in configuring IoT architectures leveraging the AWS IoT Platform ecosystem.
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities to manage remote engineering squads effectively, coupled with high analytical problem-solving agility and flexibility for business travel.
