Banking Operations New Associate

Accenture is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Banking Operations New Associate to join our Commercial Banking Operations team in Chennai. This entry-level position is designed for finance graduates who want to work with core banking solutions, transform legacy financial models, and help leading commercial banks navigate operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Core Banking Solutions Delivery: Assist in the execution of daily essential banking functions, including enterprise account management, interest calculations, customer data mapping, and product management portfolios.
• Transaction & Cash Processing: Securely process daily financial transactions, coordinate commercial account validations, and manage deposits and withdrawal updates.
• Credit Origination Support: Provide foundational subject matter expertise by evaluating corporate financial statements to complete systemic loan and deal origination workflows.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Undertake ad-hoc data analysis and draft transactional progress reports to ensure high-quality and timely back-office deliverables.
• Independent Decision-Making: Handle assignments of moderate complexity with a limited amount of independent decision-making under general structural guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with immediate supervisors and team members to address productivity bottlenecks while maintaining full flexibility for operational shifts.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Educational Background: Holds a valid B.B.M, B.Com, or equivalent Bachelor's degree with a Finance or Accounting specialization.
• Professional Experience: 0 to 1 years of foundational track record or academic specialization in corporate finance, general ledger banking, or asset administration.
• Core Competencies: Strong work ethic, quick learning agility for financial software interfaces, excellent team collaboration attributes, and sharp analytical troubleshooting.
