BMC Helix ITSM- Senior Developer

Wipro Limited is seeking a highly skilled BMC Helix ITSM - Senior Developer with strong ITIL foundations to engineer, customize, and optimize enterprise level ITSM & ITAM solutions at our Bengaluru technical development hub.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Platform Development & Customization: Configure and extend core BMC Helix modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, CMDB, and Asset Management utilizing Innovation Studio and AR System.
• Advanced Automation & Scripting: Build high-performance backend automation scripts, custom data connectors, and system utilities using Python programming.
• API Integration Architecture: Architect robust data exchange mechanisms and web services using REST and SOAP protocols to bridge external platforms.
• Agentic AI Engineering: Pioneer cutting-edge enterprise AI use cases, focusing on prompt engineering and API integrations with the platform-native Helix GPT module.
• Configuration Management (CMDB): Design advanced CMDB data models, normalizations, and reconciliation asset tracking matrices.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience specializing in ITSM/ITAM engineering infrastructure.
• Core Product Stack: Deep expertise in BMC Helix Ecosystem (Remedy, Smart IT, Digital Workplace) alongside asset tools like Flexera or ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
• Methodologies & Certifications: Strong foundational knowledge of Asset Inventory lifecycles and software licensing compliance policies; ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification is highly preferred.
• Cloud Knowledge: High-level structural exposure to public cloud architecture, including AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
