Business Intelligence Engineer, LMAQ [Last Mile Address Quality BIE]

Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking an expert, analytical Business Intelligence Engineer, LMAQ to join our Last Mile Address Quality group in Hyderabad, Telangana . This cross-functional engineering role focuses on tracking, modeling, and improving geospatial and customer address datasets that guide millions of automated routing decisions and parcel delivery plans across global fulfillment operations .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• ETL & Data Artifact Architecture: Code, design, and maintain highly scalable data models, automated extraction tasks (ETL), and customized database queries to evaluate big data telemetry .
• Advanced Scripting & Querying: Query large relational clusters utilizing Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL environments, deploying programmatic scripts in Python, Java, or R to automate data extraction loops .
• Statistical Problem Solving: Apply quantitative statistical tools—including regression algorithms and variance metrics—to break down complex supply chain defects and delivery route bottlenecks .
• Executive BI Dashboard Engineering: Translate multi-tier datasets into clean, actionable business intelligence visualization layouts utilizing Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or custom reporting tools .
• Strategic Requirements Gathering: Map functional business specifications from operations and finance teams, converting qualitative customer queries into automated performance reports .
• Executive Stakeholder Interlock: Act as the primary technical voice for global product updates, using clear data storytelling to influence product roadmaps and guide conversations with VPs and SVPs .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Querying Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of proven industry history parsing, modeling, and validating data pipelines within large-scale distributed warehouse infrastructures .
• Data Visualization Mastery: Documented track record using enterprise-tier BI applications to build interactive data insights and map business performance indicators .
