Capital Markets Operations New Associate – Trade Processing & Settlements

Accenture is hiring a Capital Markets Operations New Associate in Bengaluru for its Trade Processing and Settlements operations team. This full-time opportunity is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience and any graduation qualification.

The role is part of Accenture's Applied Technology & Operations for Markets (ATOM) platform and involves supporting capital markets operations, trade processing, corporate actions, client instructions, settlements, reconciliation, and exception management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor market sources including custodians, exchanges, and SWIFT messages for upcoming voluntary corporate actions.
• Validate corporate action event details such as terms, deadlines, eligibility, and tax implications.
• Ensure accurate setup of corporate action events in relevant systems.
• Notify clients about corporate actions, deadlines, available options, and required actions.
• Track client responses and ensure instructions are submitted to custodians and agents within required deadlines.
• Capture and validate client instructions related to corporate actions.
• Process elections accurately and submit instructions before market deadlines.
• Coordinate with custodians, depositaries, and counterparties for confirmations.
• Calculate client entitlements based on event terms and account positions.
• Reconcile entitlements against custodian records to ensure accuracy.
• Allocate cash or securities proceeds to client accounts after corporate actions.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies involving event terms, elections, instructions, or entitlements.
• Investigate and resolve operational breaks and exceptions.
• Follow established processes and detailed instructions while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational requirements.
• Be willing to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Requirements:

• Any Graduation qualification.
• 0–1 year of experience; freshers may be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong process-oriented approach.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
• Ability to work accurately within defined operational procedures.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
