Cloud Networking Engineer

Role OverviewWipro is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join their technology services and consulting team in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, building, and managing robust, secure, and scalable cloud network infrastructures across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). This role is centered on hybrid cloud frameworks tailored to meet stringent enterprise telecom industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design: Design and deploy comprehensive cloud networking setups, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, and strategic routing tables.Traffic Management: Configure load balancers, private endpoints, ingress/egress patterns, DNS configurations, and traffic routing strategies.Hybrid Connectivity: Build and maintain seamless secure hybrid connections using technologies like VPN, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute.Network Security: Implement and enforce strict boundary security using Network Security Groups (NSGs), Security Groups, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and traditional cloud firewalls.Automation (IaC): Automate the provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, and Ansible.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Actively monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and manage end-to-end infrastructure observability using tools like Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and Grafana.Collaboration: Partner with core Enterprise Architects, DevOps units, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver unified and secure digital transformation infrastructure.Required Candidate ProfileExperience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience in network engineering and cloud-based architecture.Cloud Environments: Proven hands-on proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Core Networking: Deep understanding of foundational networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and complex routing architectures.Containerization: Practical exposure to container networking within Kubernetes or OpenShift environments.Scripting & Automation: Strong capability in writing automation scripts using Python or Shell, alongside a solid grasp of modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
