Content Risk Analyst, ASCI

Amazon is hiring for the position of Content Risk Analyst, ASCI (AI Safety, Compliance & Improvement) in Bengaluru. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in content moderation, AI operations, data annotation, compliance, or responsible AI who are passionate about improving the safety and quality of artificial intelligence systems. As part of Amazon's AI Safety, Compliance & Improvement team, you will contribute to enhancing Alexa experiences by ensuring AI models meet the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and customer trust.

In this role, you will work as a human-in-the-loop reviewer, partnering with advanced AI systems to evaluate model outputs, perform quality audits, analyze customer feedback, execute red teaming activities, and identify potential risks. You will follow established operating procedures while using AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency and maintain quality across multiple Alexa products, including Alexa+, Ring, Automotive, and Kids experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform AI data annotation, quality auditing, and dataset curation to improve machine learning models.
• Review and validate Large Language Model (LLM) outputs for quality, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Execute AI red teaming activities to identify vulnerabilities, safety risks, and policy violations.
• Analyze customer feedback, identify recurring trends, and escalate critical issues when required.
• Monitor incidents, prepare escalation reports, and support cross-functional teams during investigations.
• Maintain high annotation accuracy, productivity, and compliance with established SOPs.
• Create documentation, update standard operating procedures, and contribute to process improvements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new AI tools and automation workflows.
• Mentor junior associates and participate in calibration sessions to maintain review consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering, science, operations, and product teams to improve AI safety and customer experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in content moderation, AI/ML operations, data annotation, or compliance operations.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI governance concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing operational environment while following standard operating procedures.
