Accenture is seeking a meticulous, finance-driven Controllership Associate specializing in Lease Accounting and Lease Administration to join our high-performing operations hub in Pune. This role focus on managing commercial real estate data lifecycles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and abstracting business-critical financial elements from complex contractual frameworks.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lease Abstraction & System Configuration: Extract complex financial, legal, and operational clauses from lease agreements and populate them accurately into client software systems, database tools, or structured tracking matrices.
- ERP Data Validation: Review critical legal parameters, apply interpretive business assumptions, and securely input legal records into enterprise platforms such as SAP REFX.
- Expense Recovery Analysis: Analyze lease financial elements encompassing Common Area Maintenance (CAM), property taxes, structural insurance, and ad-hoc expense recovery parameters to eliminate validation errors.
- Audit & Compliance Management: Support continuous lease audits, execute recovery setups, manage client CAM billing accounts, and apply statistical terms to evaluate structural deal parameters.
- Client Query Resolution: Track, investigate, and resolve process clarifications raised by corporate clients or extended finance stakeholders, providing guidance to peer members on low-complexity deal patterns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Function as an individual contributor within a structured workflow, maintaining close alignment with supervisors and operating under rotational shift structures.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Educational Background: Holds a valid BCom (Bachelor of Commerce) degree. Open to graduates/post-graduates across Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, or Legal/Paralegal tracks with strong financial acumen.
- Professional Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in lease abstraction services, real estate asset management, financial bookkeeping, or legal operations.
- Core Technical Toolkit: Practical knowledge of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) systems, specifically SAP REFX or equivalent database ledger software, combined with foundational spreadsheet application capabilities.
- Core Soft Skills: Outstanding written English communication, natural aptitude for interpreting complex legal language, high reasoning skill, strict attention to formatting details, and adaptability to agile corporate settings.
