Custom Software Engineer

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer in Hyderabad for a full-time role focused on API Management, technical support, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies. The position is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who have strong technical and problem-solving skills.

In this customer-facing role, you will support customers before and after technology implementations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, work with APIs and databases, and provide technical assistance across multiple technologies including Java, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, REST, JSON, and XML.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer-facing technology solutions.
• Handle complex customer issues and escalations.
• Analyze technical problems and identify suitable solutions.
• Work with APIs, web services, databases, and data-driven applications.
• Support REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, and other data transmission technologies.
• Use tools such as Postman and SoapUI for API testing and troubleshooting.
• Support applications connected to Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and other relational databases.
• Work with Java, Linux, web programming, HTTP, and web services.
• Communicate customer requirements and technical issues with internal teams.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Support implementation and post-implementation activities.
• Maintain support systems, virtual environments, databases, and shared instances.
• Participate in process improvements and emerging technology initiatives.
• Handle rotational on-call support when required.

Technical Skills Required:

• Knowledge of API Management and web services.
• Understanding of REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, and HTTP.
• Knowledge of Java programming concepts.
• Experience or familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, or HANA.
• Knowledge of Linux and basic shell programming.
• Familiarity with Postman and SoapUI.
• Understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data security and operations.
• Good communication, organizational, and customer-handling skills.

Eligibility:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in learning emerging technologies.
• Ability to handle customer escalations and work in a fast-paced support environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Rotational Shift Schedule:

• 6:30 AM IST to 3:30 PM IST
• 3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST
