Job Description

Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a Data Engineer II, Amazon Payment Products in Bengaluru, Karnataka to build data infrastructure for global credit card and payment ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Design, build, and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
Ensure data quality, writing secure, stable, and testable code.
Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, storage, and query performance.
Create self-service BI access to data.
Collaborate with engineers and product teams on scalable solutions.
Mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

3+ years of professional data engineering experience.
4+ years of SQL experience.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
Understanding of distributed systems (MapReduce, MPP).
