Amazon is hiring for the position of Digital Associate – Ring Data Engineering Services, Operations, IT & Support Engineering in Chennai. As a Digital Associate, you will support Amazon's Machine Learning initiatives by performing data annotation, image and video labeling, audio tagging, and generating high-quality written content for multimedia files. Your work will directly contribute to improving AI models and enhancing customer experiences across Amazon products and Ring smart home devices.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing audio, image, and video files, accurately labeling objects, generating clear and grammatically correct descriptions, and ensuring that all annotation tasks comply with Amazon's quality standards. You will use Amazon's internal annotation tools, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain confidentiality of customer data, and participate in quality verification activities to ensure consistent and accurate outputs.

You will also help identify process improvements by providing timely feedback, reporting annotation-related issues, tracking daily productivity, and supporting testing of new annotation tools and workflows. Strong attention to detail, excellent written English, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for success in this role.

Amazon is looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree and strong English reading, writing, and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, or night shifts when required.
