Infosys Limited is seeking a creative and human-centric Digital Product and Service Design Consultant to join our elite Infosys Consulting practice in Bangalore. In this role, you will act as a primary experience architect, translating complex multi-stakeholder business requirements into intuitive cross-platform software interactions, utilizing user-centered design principles and structured Design Thinking frameworks to build impactful products at scale.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Human-Centric Strategy & Ideation: Facilitate and co-lead interactive Design Thinking workshops and collaborative brainstorming sessions to diagnose legacy user experience gaps and define high-value solution alternatives.
- Comprehensive Experience Mapping: Extract deep insights on target audience behaviors to author scannable user storyboards, multi-mile interaction flows, service blueprints, and detailed customer journey maps.
- Full-Lifecycle Interactive Design: Develop, iterate, and deploy low-to-high-fidelity wireframes, interactive concept prototypes, and interface blueprints for CRM solutions, global e-commerce portals, and enterprise mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
- Usability Testing & Research: Partner closely with dedicated UX research teams to organize, monitor, and execute usability testing evaluations, using telemetry feedback loops to continuously enhance visual layouts.
- DesignOps & Governance Administration: Implement robust Design Operations (DesignOps) models, maintaining clean asset handoffs between business strategy anchors and backend development squads within Agile, Lean, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments.
- Accessibility & Compliance Verification: Audit digital interface layers to enforce compliance parameters centered on international digital accessibility standards, including ADA and WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
- Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Coach, mentor, and guide a diverse group of junior designers; present technical service offerings to senior client executives and build trusted product lifecycle design governance frameworks.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience Track: 5 to 20 years of progressive IT layout engineering or user experience consulting experience, highlighting at least 2 to 3 years dedicated exclusively to the digital product and strategic service design space.
- Educational Background: Holds a valid Bachelor of Engineering degree. A Master's degree in Product, Service, Interaction, or specialized Design academia is highly valued.
- Industry Verticals Depth: Documented consulting footprint creating front-office and back-office banking applications, mobile internet interfaces, or high-velocity consumer e-commerce pipelines is highly preferred.
- Core Soft Skills: Masterful presentation capabilities, excellent consultative storytelling attributes, analytical reasoning to operate effectively under tight deadlines, and a collaborative spirit to liaise across Finance, Business, and Tech towers.
