Infosys Limited is seeking a highly accomplished, strategic Infrastructure Architect specializing in Contract Governance & Commercial Controls to join our elite Cloud & Infrastructure Services delivery stream in Chennai. This senior advisory position focuses on leading enterprise infrastructure managed services engagements, ensuring complete alignment of multi-vendor operating models with strict compliance frameworks, and driving financial governance across the service lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Contract Governance & Strategy: Serve as the central authority for interpreting contract schedules, Statements of Work (SOWs), service descriptions, RACI matrices, and complex multi-vendor performance obligations.
- Commercial Controls & Financial Management: Lead comprehensive commercial tracking modules, including billing validation protocols, invoice audit support, consumption reporting, cost forecasting, and chargeability analytics.
- Contract Change Management: Manage the end-to-end Change Request (CR) assessment lifecycle, orchestrating rigorous structural impact analyses, pricing coordination frameworks, and implementation governance.
- Risk & SLA Compliance: Proactively build and audit contract obligation trackers, commercial risk logs, and SLA/KPI exposure metrics to protect delivery performance and manage penalty/credit boundaries.
- Multi-Stakeholder Orchestration: Coordinate cross-functional alignments between Legal, Finance, Procurement, Delivery PMO, Service Management, and external client governance committees to resolve contractual escalations and audit observations.
- Operational Excellence & ITIL Frameworks: Align infrastructure delivery solutions with ITIL-based delivery operations, supervising automated incident, problem, and service request processes for continuous service improvement.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Shape the technical vision for the architecture team, conduct specialized domain workshops, and motivate engineers through structured performance reviews to meet organizational standards.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: 9 to 16 years of robust experience operating within infrastructure managed services, Service Integration and Management (SIAM), or large-scale data center consulting structures.
- Infrastructure Domain Awareness: High-level structural familiarity with core technical building blocks, including Unix/Linux Server Administration (RHEL, AIX, Solaris), Storage Administration topologies, Routing & Switching networking, database layers (Teradata, CouchDB), and Database Virtualization rules.
- Core Soft Skills: Outstanding contract negotiation capabilities, sophisticated corporate communication for executive audiences, rigorous technical documentation standards, and data-driven analytical reasoning under ambiguity.
