Job Description

Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking a highly technical, numbers-driven Instock Account Specialist, Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) to join our strategic inventory management unit in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating within the fast-paced quick commerce channel, this role owns selection availability, replenishment planning, and workflow diagnostics to sustain high in-stock parameters for global retail streams .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • In-Stock Rate Governance: Drive day-to-day item availability across owned fast-moving retail categories, tracking and eliminating processing exceptions .
  • Inventory Strategy Execution: Formulate metrics-driven buy profiles to optimize category sales trajectories, increase turn rates, and secure overall inventory health .
  • Supply Chain Telemetry Tracking: Deep-dive core drivers of fulfillment data, tracking Procurement Lead Time (PLT), Fill Rates, Forecast Accuracy, and Days of Cover (DOC) .
  • Fulfillment Flow Optimization: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping queues, building accurate forecasts to optimize warehouse dock space allocations .
  • Unproductive Inventory Mitigation: Audit system data records to systematically isolate and remove slow-moving or unproductive inventory allocations from active nodes .
  • Cross-Functional Retail Interlock: Partner closely with regional retail and facility operations business units to continuously upgrade inventory tool structures .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Professional Experience Track: 1 or more years of proven professional experience working inside corporate sales, account management, or quantitative logistics environments .
  • Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or recognized university platform .
  • Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: Strong functional familiarity and hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate data strings and trace metrics .
  • Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written business storytelling properties, rapid analytical troubleshooting capabilities, high attention to metric layout details, and a natural customer obsession .
