Java Developer

Infosys Limited is looking for a talented and driven Java Developer with strong Spring Boot and Microservices capabilities to join our Application Development and Maintenance team in Bangalore. This role offers an impactful opportunity to drive enterprise level digital transformation initiatives while providing technical mentorship to a developing engineering squad.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Software Engineering & Design: Turn structural requirements into clean, scalable code deployments using Core Java, advanced data structures, and algorithms within a Microservices architecture.
• Framework Customization: Configure, secure, and extend backend business logic leveraging the comprehensive Spring Boot platform, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security mechanisms.
• API Management & Microservices: Architect, implement, and track high-performance RESTful web applications utilizing modern Microservices API Management frameworks.
• Database & Performance Optimization: Oversee relational database integration using MySQL and PostgreSQL; apply expert-level runtime compilation analysis and Java performance tuning protocols to maximize cloud resource efficiency.
• Production Support & Artifact Generation: Conduct technical analysis and root-cause diagnostics to isolate system dependencies, draft thorough technical design documentation, and handle immediate troubleshooting for production environments.
• Team Mentorship & Knowledge Management: Act as an engineering lead to support junior developers through code verification reviews, while driving active knowledge management initiatives to share technical learnings across business units.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 2 to 3 years of robust development track record in Java and Spring Boot ecosystems, including a documented background in team coordination or developer mentorship.
• Core Technical Stack: Deep technical exposure to modern IDE platforms like Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA alongside relational database management rules.
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication to bridge technical complexities for cross-functional stakeholders, rigorous attention to engineering detail, and natural leadership management attributes.
