KubeCost FinOps Engineer

Infosys Limited is seeking a highly analytical and technical KubeCost FinOps Engineer to join our elite Cloud & Infrastructure Services unit in Bangalore. This position focus on architecting FinOps optimization modules, custom-building Kubernetes cost-allocation frameworks, and deploying automated tracking workflows to manage resource consumption parameters across enterprise private cloud networks.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• FinOps Module Engineering: Design, develop, and integrate specialized FinOps cost metrics modules, utilizing KubeCost utilities to extract deep cloud-spend profiles.
• Private Cloud Cost Optimization: Define, customize, and continuously refine automated platform operational processes to detect system configuration leaks and minimize computing overheads.
• Full-Stack Dashboard Development: Program responsive business intelligence dashboards and tracking views using Full-Stack Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL to report real-time usage drivers.
• Container Orchestration Support: Partner with core platform infrastructure groups to track multi-tenant cluster boundaries across major microservices and containerized environments.
• Platform Troubleshooting & Debugging: Run technical root-cause diagnostics on data pipeline anomalies, reconcile accounting deviations, and configure software automation variables to bypass bottlenecks.
• Engineering Quality Governance: Guide and instruct Developers and Lead Developers in executing automated policy-as-code scripts, ensuring complete alignment with organizational quality processes.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience Track: 5 to 7 years of robust IT tracking history handling enterprise software engineering, systems administration, cloud monitoring, or infrastructure cost auditing.
• Core Technical Toolkit: Practical knowledge of cloud deployment types (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), backend database queries, automated data entry frameworks, and open-systems Python logic.
• Methodology Depth: Comprehensive operational command over cloud financial management frameworks, infrastructure lifecycle activities, and modern Agile sprint structures.
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and technical writing attributes, strong collaborative qualities to guide peer engineering squads, and sharp logical reasoning capabilities under high-volume workloads.
