Payroll Operations Associate

Accenture is seeking a process-driven Payroll Operations Associate to join their specialized finance and human resources shared services hub in Bengaluru. The core objective of this operational role centers on administering the end-to-end employee compensation and statutory accounting pipeline, boosting workforce agility, and ensuring the absolute data integrity of global internal disbursement systems.

Core day-to-day administrative and mathematical responsibilities focus on the implementation, configuration, and monitoring of multi-module payroll processes directly inside Workday Payroll accounting platforms. The associate will manage transactional workflows from input collection to final distribution, reconcile high-volume disbursement files, perform variance analysis to isolate compilation errors, and investigate structural data discrepancies. Additionally, team members will ensure 100% compliance with corporate tax controls, maintain payroll execution calendars, and prepare detailed compliance reporting logs for respective tax authorities.

Furthermore, the position requires managing internal stakeholder queries, resolving complex level-2 compensation challenges, and tracking workflow execution timelines to meet aggressive client-mandated SLAs. Functioning as an individual contributor within a predetermined team scope, the associate will solve routine technical operational problems using standard process precedents and general guidelines. Ideal candidates must hold a university graduation degree, present 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional payroll accounting background, demonstrate great analytical problem-solving skills, and maintain high flexibility to handle rotational shift patterns.
