Pharmacovigilance Services Associate

Accenture is looking for an analytical and process-driven Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to join their Life Sciences R&D vertical in Bengaluru. The fundamental purpose of this role is to monitor and analyze adverse event profiles related to pharmaceutical products, ensuring drug safety surveillance benchmarks align with global compliance parameters and client guidelines.

Core day-to-day administrative and medical data responsibilities center on the processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) within the centralized safety database. The associate will execute case identification protocols, enter data fields accurately, assign standardized MedDRA codes, and track data consistency across multi-module entries. Additionally, the specialist will run continuous verification routines, manage case submission timelines, and execute systematic follow-up documentation to protect baseline operational data integrity.

Furthermore, the position requires functioning as a reliable individual contributor within a structured clinical and regulatory team infrastructure. Selected team members will solve routine database errors and reporting problems through general guidelines and established process precedents under direct supervisory management. Ideal candidates must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, present 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional background in pharmacovigilance operations, possess strong logical reasoning traits, and maintain high flexibility to work across rotational shift windows.
