Job Description

Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking a highly analytical, strategically minded Pricing Manager, OTR Strategy, Now LM OTR Strategy to spearhead logistics economics for our quick commerce platform in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating at the core of the Amazon Now last-mile delivery network, this strategic program management role owns the national design, deployment, and optimization of rider rate cards and dynamic incentive structures to make Amazon the preferred workspace for delivery partners across India .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • National Rate Card Engineering: Own the end-to-end design, simulation, and rollout of Out-Of-The-Station (OTR) compensation rate cards at a national scale .
  • Hyper-Local Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct granular, local marketplace field intelligence tracking to reverse-engineer competitor payouts and optimize entry strategies .
  • Dynamic Surge & Productivity Schemes: Build responsive surge pricing models and productivity-linked incentive loops to maximize rider retention during spikes .
  • Pricing & Cost-Per-Delivery Telemetry: Architect data measurement frameworks using SQL, R, and Advanced Excel to track delivery cost variances and financial metrics .
  • Cross-Functional Operating Alignment: Interlock with Last Mile Operations, Forecasting, Capacity Planning, and Finance to verify that pricing decisions remain sustainable .
  • Executive Strategy Storytelling: Distill complex micro-economic compromises into clean data-backed narrative proposals for presentation to senior corporate leadership .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Quick Commerce Last Mile Domain: Minimum of 2 years of professional history inside the Quick Commerce sector, including 1+ years focused directly on last-mile rate architecture .
  • Program Management Tenure: 4 or more years of verified, non-internship experience managing project constraints, timelines, requirements, and metric dashboards .
  • Core Technical Toolkit: Demonstrated practical mastery writing database queries in SQL or R alongside advanced spreadsheet manipulation (Nested Lookups, Pivot Arrays) .
  • Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred .
  • Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written consultative storytelling properties, strong executive presence, and a willing bias to dive deep into field realities .
