Project Manager - GenAI, Cloud & Backend Development

Infosys Limited is looking for an accomplished and technically proficient Project Manager - GenAI, Cloud & Backend Development to join our elite Cloud & Infrastructure Services unit in Hyderabad. This strategic leadership role carries end-to-end bottom-line accountability for delivering complex machine learning pipelines, banking backend infrastructure integrations, and generative AI initiatives for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• End-to-End Project Management: Take holistic ownership of the project lifecycle (SDLC), defining scope boundaries, creating project charters, scheduling resource assignments, and executing strict tracking cadences to minimize development risks.
• Proposal Sizing & Deal Closures: Lead cross-functional proposal compilation efforts, review high-level estimation models, and collaborate with business development executives to secure multi-tenant technology deals.
• AI Architecture & Data Science: Champion technical delivery around advanced machine learning and Generative AI for Data Analytics setups, applying Python data structures and design principles to power automated business insights.
• Banking Backend System Oversight: Manage platform delivery frameworks integrated with enterprise financial banking products, maintaining core functional exposure to Finacle Treasury systems, structured products, and Grand Master matrices.
• Performance Engineering & SQA: Validate full-stack application health, supervise performance engineering diagnostics, and enforce corporate software quality assurance (SQA) protocols across cloud backend services.
• Team Leadership & Thought Leadership: Drive employee capability building by providing subject-matter upskilling workshops, creating a cohesive technical vision, and contributing to unit-level thought leadership in compliance with Infosys processes.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 8 to 10 years of robust IT tracking history managing technical software development, backend cloud configurations, or complex technical delivery teams.
• Core Technical Stack: Strong functional programming and data engineering competency in Python, artificial intelligence modeling, core architecture design frameworks, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Domain Competency: Foundational knowledge of corporate banking processes, financial treasury products data streams, and resource management models.
• Core Soft Skills: Masterful logical thinking, sharp problem-solving capabilities under ambiguity, outstanding consultative communication, and top-tier team motivation qualities.
