About the Role
Amazon Seller Services Private Limited (ASSPL) is looking for a hands-on Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to handle facility engineering operations across its fulfillment networks in Mumbai and Pune. Sitting within the Facilities, Maintenance, & Real Estate category, this role demands technical cross-functional versatility to sustain peak machinery availability. Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly technical checklists under rigid PPM schedule protocols.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnos and overhaul mechanical assembly faults, high-speed conveyor belts, and material handling systems.
- Automation Control: Troubleshoot advanced relay logic, ladder configurations, photo eyes, proximity sensors, and variable frequency inverters.
- Vendor Operations: Coordinate directly with third-party service vendors to enforce warranty coverages and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Operational Reporting: Formulate metrics on active Troubleshooting Tickets (TT) and map distinct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) charts.
- Facility Safety: Govern hazardous task validations including hot work clearances, height protocols, and regular fire suppression hardware tests.
Required Qualifications & Capabilities
- Core Specialization: Domain validation across Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, or Instrumentation engineering systems.
- Automation Familiarity: Foundational exposure deploying or fixing high-tier material processing conveyances or warehouse control loops.
- Schematic Literacy: Practical fluency processing technical blueprints, electrical layouts, industrial wiring protocols, and circuit mechanics.
- Task Prioritization: Outstanding background balancing immediate breakdown resolutions alongside long-duration facility management duties.
- Soft Services Awareness: Capable of managing outsourced housekeeping, specialized pest treatments, and comprehensive scrap collection streams.
