Infosys Limited is seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAP FSM Consultant to join our elite Enterprise Package Application Services unit in Chennai. This specialized application consulting position focuses on leading field service digital transformations, configuring unified asset operational modules, and orchestrating cloud integration architectures for enterprise clients across major business sectors.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- SAP FSM Platform Configuration: Lead end-to-end configuration, modular customization, and structural solution blueprinting inside the SAP Field Service Management (FSM) ecosystem.
- Cloud Integration & Middleware Orchestration: Connect field applications with backend ERP infrastructures by mapping automated data exchanges using SAP CPI (Cloud Process Integration) and custom Groovy scripting libraries.
- Enterprise Core System Alignment: Align cloud service workflows seamlessly with enterprise modules, establishing clean linkages across SAP CRM/C4C Service platforms and SAP S/4HANA Service/Customer Service (CS) database nodes.
- Business Intelligence Reporting: Author and deploy advanced operational metadata matrices and executive dashboards using Jaspersoft reporting engines to deliver low-latency performance insights.
- Consulting Delivery & Prototyping: Partner directly with business stakeholders to diagnose technical problem areas, coordinate complete Conference Room Pilots (CRP), deliver Proof of Technology (PoT) simulations, and prepare effort estimation frameworks.
- Proposal Ownership & Initiatives: Build and scale client technical proposals by defining area-specific solution architectures, while managing small project groups and driving unit-level capability growth in compliance with company guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: 5 to 9 years of robust IT consulting and platform engineering experience, featuring a minimum of 5 years dedicated exclusively to SAP FSM and a verified history of completing at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Core Technical Toolkit: Advanced technical command over SAP business processes, cloud-based data transformation, and data mapping parameters. Additional exposure to SSAM (SAP Service and Asset Manager) is highly advantageous.
- Preferred Credentials: Holding an active, verified industry certification in SAP Field Service Management is strongly preferred.
- Core Soft Skills: Masterful logical thinking parameters, exceptional analytical troubleshooting under pressure, strong collaborative qualities, and outstanding verbal and written communication attributes to engage with executive client teams.
