Senior Staff Software Engineer

Druva is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Workload team in Pune. In this role you will own the design, development, and maintenance of core backup and archival modules that run on Druva’s cloud‑native platform. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to deliver reliable, high‑performance features that protect data for thousands of enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end feature development for the Enterprise Workload product.
• Design scalable software architecture and write clean, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Gather requirements, create technical specs, and drive timely delivery.
• Ensure quality through automated testing, performance tuning, and production monitoring.

Required Skills:

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or C++.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows internals.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and multi‑threaded programming.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and cloud platforms.
