Senior Technical Program Manager, IN Amazon Pay

Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a highly strategic and technically accomplished Senior Technical Program Manager to join our elite IN Amazon Pay team in Hyderabad. In this senior role, you will drive the definition, architecture, and execution of scalable platform solutions to support buyers and merchants, establishing Amazon Pay as a universal payment wallet and financial services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Technical Program Leadership: Direct complex, large-scale technical programs from initial concept to release, collaborating directly with software engineering teams to deliver high-quality payment platform integrations.
• System Design & Architecture: Evaluate, build, and challenge low-latency, distributed system-level technical designs to ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security and reliability metrics.
• Roadmap Strategy & Execution: Own and drive the end-to-end strategy, specification, and execution of long-term technical and product roadmaps aligned with evolving fintech dynamics.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align and coordinate priorities across multi-tiered, matrixed global business units, establishing scalable operations and unified release schedules.
• KPI & Service Level Governance: Formulate, instrument, and audit complex business performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) used to steer multi-million dollar business lines.
• Operational Risk & Path Mitigation: Implement rigorous project management discipline over core program scopes, tracking critical paths, resource dependencies, and structural platform deployment risks.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 7 or more years of robust engineering landscape experience, combining a minimum of 5 years dedicated to technical program management and 3+ years of direct, hands-on software development history.
• Core Technical Toolkit: Solid background in distributed cloud computing, API integration models, web payment architectures, and automated system deployment lifecycles (SDLC).
• Methodologies & Frameworks: Elite mastery of Agile/Scrum development frameworks, cross-team release scheduling, process optimization pipelines, and comprehensive financial governance tools.
• Core Soft Skills: Strong technical problem-solving capabilities, precise analytical reasoning under structural ambiguity, exceptional documentation skills, and clear executive-level presentation attributes.
