Infosys Limited is seeking a highly skilled and analytical ServiceNow ITOM Engineer to join our elite Cloud & Infrastructure Services division in Hyderabad. This engineering position focus on configuring, administering, and scaling the ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform layer to optimize full-stack service availability and bridge technical business infrastructure workflows for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Platform Support & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end tool administration, configuration, mapping, and day-to-day operation of the core ServiceNow ITOM suite to streamline multi-tenant IT operations.
- Client Consulting & Technical Interfacing: Act as a vital point of contact for global enterprise clients, gathering complex infrastructure metrics, resolving production platform faults, and driving high customer satisfaction benchmarks.
- Architecture Validation & Solution Design: Review technical specifications and validate infrastructure service offering blueprints by applying robust data modelling methods and foundational SOLID design principles.
- Project Sizing & Risk Planning: Participate actively in project estimation matrices, construct technical risk planning scripts, and support delivery workflows from initial problem definition to complete deployment.
- Quality Assurance & Code Review: Execute comprehensive unit test plan verifications, run structured code and design reviews, and deploy technical debugging sequences to protect platform stability and eliminate system drift.
- Team Guidance & Knowledge Management: Mentor and guide engineering squads towards developing optimized, high-quality deliverables within Agile sprint mechanics, fostering continual knowledge transfer across infrastructure towers.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: 5 to 8 years of robust IT infrastructure track record, specializing in tool administration, system configurations, and production environment support.
- Core Technical Toolkit: Comprehensive mastery of ServiceNow ITOM architectures combined with practical familiarity with automated testing tools, system monitoring telemetry, and configuration databases.
- Methodologies & Process Awareness: Solid structural understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, multi-tiered project lifecycles (both development and maintenance), and organizational quality processes.
- Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication attributes to bridge complex technical solutions with client priorities, strong logical reasoning, and advanced analytical debugging capabilities.
