Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking an innovative, highly analytical Software Development Engineer to join our International Cobranded Credit Cards (ICCS) Acquisition tech team in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating within Amazon's fast-growing financial products vertical, this backend engineering role focuses on building scalable, fault-tolerant discovery, sign-up, and onboarding platforms for Cobranded Credit Cards across the UK, Japan, and Germany .
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- High-Scale Fintech Engineering: Design and build low-latency, secure distributed storage, indexing, and query systems that process application data at immense scale .
- Bank Partner KYC Integration: Architect and implement technical integrations with international banking partners to facilitate real-time KYC, credit vetting, and onboarding pipelines .
- Greenfield Solution Design: Translate broadly defined, ambiguous credit card product goals into structured backend code and microservice frameworks from scratch .
- Full-SDLC Process Governance: Enforce high standards through comprehensive testing, continuous code reviews, source control tracking, and automated build processes .
- Agile Team Collaboration: Coordinate within a cross-disciplinary team of engineering and product managers to release features in fast development cycles .
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Software Development: Minimum of 3 years of verified, non-internship professional software development experience across standard backend languages .
- System Design & Architecture: 2 or more years of hands-on experience mapping design patterns, system scaling, and reliability configurations .
- Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an aligned technical discipline .
- Core Technical Stack: Practical command over at least one modern programming language (such as Java, C++, Python, or C#) combined with distributed application operations .
- Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written business communication attributes, high-level analytical problem solving, and a natural customer obsession .
