Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a high-performing, expert Solution Area Specialist - Cyber Security to lead enterprise security accounts, optimize digital defense roadmaps, and drive platform adoption across our key strategic territories out of our Bangalore hub. This role centers on architecting multi-cloud protection systems, engaging with C-level stakeholders, and translating complex technical compliance requirements into value-driven business strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Territory Cybersecurity Leadership: Take holistic ownership of the end-to-end security portfolio within the assigned territory, using deep business analysis to identify, qualify, and expand high-potential cloud revenue pipelines.
  • C-Suite Advisory & Alignment: Act as a primary consultative advisor to CISOs, CTOs, and CIOs; map out corporate security gaps, examine procurement lifecycles, and foster excitement for Microsoft’s integrated protection value proposition.
  • Technical Solutioning & Architecture: Conduct live product demonstrations and cloud whiteboarding sessions to model robust architecture frameworks spanning Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Incident Response protocols, and automated SIEM tracking.
  • Financial Business Case Sizing: Author and formulate precise Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) matrices and Return on Investment (ROI) business models to accelerate contract negotiations and minimize deployment risks.
  • Cross-Functional V-Team Orchestration: Coordinate technical sales professionals, Global Black Belts (GBBs), and product vendors to secure technical decision validation from client evaluation committees.
  • Partner Ecosystem Scaling: Integrate regional and international system integrators into territory account plans to bundle post-sale partner added-value services, ensuring rapid code deployment and cloud software consumption.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of robust technical security sales history backed by a relevant Bachelor's degree, or 12+ years of general technology-related data security sales exposure.
  • Core Technical Stack: Deep practical familiarity with multi-cloud topologies, identity management matrices (IAM), Kill Chain models, and Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP).
  • Preferred Assets: Over 8 years of dedicated services sales experience or direct history competing with or substituting alternative security fabrics (such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or Cisco) is highly preferred.
  • Core Soft Skills: Elite communication, negotiation, and executive presentation capabilities; capacity to balance user experience boundaries with ironclad compliance criteria inside a fast-paced office hybrid structure (3 days/week in-office).
