Microsoft is seeking an elite, industry-expert Sr. Account Executive - Mfg. & Conglomerates to join our high-performing Enterprise Account Team in Bangalore. In this senior individual contributor role with embedded matrixed leadership, you will partner with major industrial conglomerates to drive large-scale Digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformations, maximize cloud spend, and capture net-new billed revenue and consumption growth across all Microsoft Clouds.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Strategic Account & Relationship Governance: Author and execute comprehensive long-term account blueprints for massive conglomerates, establishing deep, value-driven credibility as a trusted advisor to senior executive networks and diverse customer buying centers.
- Multi-Cloud Deal Orchestration: Lead and unify extended cross-functional virtual teams—including technical sales professionals, Global Black Belts (GBBs), and product engineering groups—to close high-value software, consumption, and platform adoption deals.
- Manufacturing Industry Consulting: Apply deep subject-matter knowledge of industrial processes, supply chain strategies, and manufacturing business drivers to map modern cloud-native infrastructures and specialized generative AI architectures directly to customer pain points.
- Go-To-Market & Pipeline Acceleration: Design and execute hyper-targeted territory go-to-market motions; perform rigorous pipeline analysis and leverage predictive market analytics to unlock net-new multi-million dollar business opportunities.
- Lifecycle Value Realization: Coach accounts on post-sale value realization and structural workload adoption, proactively organizing internal support, services field resources, and external channel partners to remove deployment blocks.
- Customer Advocacy & Leadership: Act as an ironclad customer champion within Microsoft, aligning strategic accounts with corporate solution strategies and holding the extended deployment team strictly accountable for results stretching beyond fiscal year boundaries.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of robust technology sales, technical consulting, or leadership experience in multi-tiered enterprise organizations with a Master's degree, OR 18+ years of equivalent enterprise experience with a standard Bachelor's degree.
- Domain Expertise: Proven and documented track record of driving massive cloud digital transformation cycles or IT modernizations within heavy manufacturing, energy, or multi-vertical conglomerate industries.
- Core Technical Framework Alignment: Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS ecosystems), data analytics platforms, automated manufacturing systems integration, and enterprise cybersecurity compliance benchmarks.
- Core Soft Skills: Exceptional executive presence, powerful consultative negotiation abilities, high learning agility, and the flexibility to navigate a high-rigor hybrid workplace configuration (4 days/week in-office) alongside a 50–75% corporate travel model.
