Systems Engineer - Application Support, System Administration & Monitoring Tools

Infosys Limited is seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Systems Engineer specializing in Application Support, System Administration & Monitoring Tools to join our elite Cloud & Infrastructure Services unit in Hyderabad. This comprehensive infrastructure role focus on delivering high-availability middleware support, multi-tenant server administration, and robust environment performance tracking to accelerate client digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Full-Stack System Administration: Lead the end-to-end administration, environment patching, configuration, and maintenance routines across hybrid cloud networks running both Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Middleware & Application Support: Oversee high-volume application workflows, handle core web-server configurations, track processing dependencies, and resolve critical technical platform faults within middleware layers.
• Requirements Sourcing & Sizing: Gather, analyze, and translate intricate functional and non-functional customer requirements into distinct system-level definitions, technical designs, and low-level software specifications.
• Work Estimation & Project Sizing: Apply structured calculation processes and quality metrics to evaluate work scope parameters, providing reliable resource sizing inputs to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Performance Engineering & Observability: Manage infrastructure tracking models and apply performance tuning methods to detect computing bottlenecks, prevent configuration drift, and secure low-latency platform runtimes.
• Quality Assurance & Code Execution: Write high-quality script adjustments, program complex system automation sequences, author detailed technical test cases, and drive complete verification protocols across the deployment cycle.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid hands-on experience supporting live production environments, troubleshooting multi-tier setups, and administering backend infrastructure platforms.
• Core Technical Toolkit: Advanced technical competency across Linux administration nodes, Windows server controls, application-level middleware interfaces, and centralized infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Methodologies & Lifecycles: Thorough baseline understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile/Scrum delivery mechanics, and structured configuration management metrics.
• Core Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking, excellent analytical troubleshooting capabilities under pressure, outstanding technical documentation skills, and clear collaborative team properties.
