Infosys Limited is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Systems Engineer specializing in Workflow Agents & Automation - Linux & Windows to join our high-performing Cloud & Infrastructure Services service line in Hyderabad. This comprehensive infrastructure position focus on engineering process automation, managing cross-platform server operations, and deploying scalable workflow agents using the K2 Workflow platform.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Workflow Automation & K2 Orchestration: Design, develop, and support enterprise process automation scripts and logic frameworks leveraging the core capabilities of the K2 Workflow suite.
- Cross-Platform Server Administration: Maintain full individual responsibility for the baseline deployment, configuration, tracking, and patching of servers operating across both Linux (Open Systems) and Windows Server environments.
- Requirements Sourcing & Sizing: Gather, analyze, and translate intricate functional and non-functional requirements from client stakeholders into clear system definitions, architectural boundaries, and low-level engineering specifications.
- Project Sizing & Scope Estimation: Apply structured calculation processes and quality metrics to evaluate work scope parameters, providing reliable resource sizing inputs to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
- Performance Engineering & Validation: Implement performance tuning metrics to monitor distributed agent execution, detect computational bottlenecks, and minimize execution drift across live production surfaces.
- Quality Control & Testing: Author high-quality script adjustments, program complex system validation tasks, write structured test cases, and manage complete system verification protocols across the delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid hands-on experience supporting live cloud/infrastructure environments, developing process automation tools, or administering multi-tier operating system topologies.
- Core Technical Toolkit: Advanced technical command over K2 Workflow software, Linux administration commands, Windows Server administration interfaces, and infrastructure tracking tools.
- Methodologies & Lifecycles: Thorough baseline understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile/Scrum delivery mechanics, and structured configuration management metrics.
