Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is looking to hire a highly accomplished, vision-driven Technical Program Manager, Amazon Flex to scale our Last Mile Technology systems in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating within a high-stakes, globally distributed software ecosystem, this senior technical leadership position owns the execution strategy, milestone definitions, and cross-organizational launch schedules for platforms handling millions of ultra-fast package deliveries daily .
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- High-Complexity Technical Delivery: Lead, define, and ship multi-million dollar software programs with massive global infrastructure footprint and deep cross-organizational dependencies .
- Greenfield Strategy Blueprinting: Formulate technical roadmap frameworks and clear structural objectives in business sectors where technical direction hasn't yet been formally mapped .
- Cross-Functional Release Governance: Align global matrix development groups, establish technical processes, and orchestrate automated release tracks across overlapping dependencies .
- Failure Pattern Mitigation: Audit active architectures, proactively identifying when systems are trending toward historical failure patterns, and guide engineering leads to re-engineer configurations early .
- Executive Tradeoff Interlock: Author high-fidelity technical proposals, presenting complex architectural tradeoffs, capacity limits, and system constraints clearly to senior corporate directors .
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Technical Program Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of verified, non-internship professional history explicitly spent operating as a Technical Program Manager alongside software engineering pods .
- Direct Engineering Background: 6 or more years of close collaborative experience interfacing across core developers, accompanied by at least 3 years of direct, hands-on software development history .
- Project Discipline Foundation: Demonstrated professional mastery administering critical path networks, project scope, delivery timelines, budgets, and quality constraints .
