Transportation Representative, Trans SME [Logistics Shift SME] [10469757]

Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking an analytical, process-driven Transportation Representative, Trans SME to join our centralized Network Operations Center (NOC) team in a fully virtual capacity based out of Hyderabad . Operating as a critical terminal specialist inside the logistics command hub, this role owns real-time supply chain exception triage, multi-tier stakeholder communication across inbound/outbound networks, and operations data analysis to protect global business continuity .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Supply Chain Execution Monitoring: Maintain live tactical monitoring of freight movements connecting suppliers to fulfillment platforms (Inbound) and warehouses to customer carrier nodes (Outbound) .
• Real-Time Exception Triage: Query internal software infrastructure tools to make immediate, data-backed routing decisions to clear line-haul delays and bottleneck points .
• Systemic Problem Escalation: Isolate data variances or recurring network issues, systematically routing structural defects to target internal teams for long-term automation .
• Weekly Narrative Presentation: Examine operational metric anomalies, authoring clean business summary papers outlining weekly variance trends to present in executive evaluation forums .
• Multi-Channel Partner Coordination: Facilitate smooth information flows fluently across external carriers or suppliers and internal divisions like Finance, Retail, and Software Support towers .
• 24/7 Floor Flexibility: Deliver responsive real-time customer experience benchmarks by working dynamically across a rolling rotational multi-shift environment .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree completed within the last 12 months in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field .
• Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: Solid functional command over Microsoft Excel data routines (such as lookups and pivot models) to track metrics and isolate network variances .
• Preferred Value-Adds: Hands-on operational experience drafting relational database scripts (SQL query composition) or implementing pragmatic routing, scheduling, and facility location solutions .
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written business communication habits, precise technical writing capabilities, high data auditing accuracy, and a natural customer obsession .
