Transportation Specialist, AmazonNowCO, RoW APEX [NOC Logistics Specialist]

Amazon India (ASSPL) is hiring a process-oriented and highly data-driven Transportation Specialist, AmazonNowCO, RoW APEX to join our centralized Network Operations Center (NOC) division in Hyderabad, Telangana . Operating within the central command layer of Amazon's global supply chain network, this role owns real-time logistics tracking, customer escalation mediation, and data trend analyses to eliminate exceptions and scale network throughput across multiple geographic sectors .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Supply Chain Execution Control: Maintain live tactical monitoring of freight movements to ensure timely, disruption-free cargo pick-ups and arrivals from vendors to distribution nodes .
• Tactical Exception Resolution: Intervene rapidly when logistics disruptions strike, leveraging internal databases to execute corrective routing maneuvers and update impacted partners .
• Visibility Tool Optimization: Core ownership of process adjustments to upgrade the availability, clarity, and precision of active metric streams shared across global teams .
• Escalation Mediation Management: Partner across customer service (CS), fulfillment center (FC), and last-mile (LM) logistics blocks to rapidly diagnose, investigate, and clear complex cargo bottlenecks .
• SOP & Operational Process Authorship: Track historical performance leaks and data variances, driving the design, publication, and onboarding of scalable standard work protocols .
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Interlock: Deliver crisp data summaries and risk reports within a collaborative remote management framework to keep leadership teams fully aligned .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative or technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics .
• Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: Strong functional command over Microsoft Excel data parsing, multi-variable trend charts, and logical database calculations .
• Process Improvement Mapping: Practical grounding in workflow diagnostic tools, structured problem isolation routines, and process optimization strategies .
• Core Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written business communication attributes, high capability to challenge or influence leadership, and full comfort managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously .
