Transportation Specialist, ROW Inbound [NOC Inbound Specialist]

Amazon India (ASSPL) is hiring a process-driven and analytical Transportation Specialist, ROW Inbound to join our centralized Network Operations Center (NOC) unit in Hyderabad, Telangana . Operating within the critical inbound logistical command tier, this role facilitates communication across warehouses, category teams, and freight carriers to resolve live exceptions and secure business continuity across local and international networks .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Inbound Supply Chain Flow Monitoring: Track and manage the end-to-end execution of vendor and seller shipment processes, safeguarding data from initial load forecasting down to final warehouse delivery .
• Appointment Scheduling & Prioritization: Formulate, audit, and allocate freight arrival slots, executing layout modifications, sidelining protocols, and real-time appointment rescues .
• Real-Time Exception Resolution: Query internal software infrastructure tools to make immediate, data-backed routing decisions to clear line-haul delays and bottleneck points .
• Data-Driven Trend Analysis: Parse operational metrics and transit matrices to isolate recurring failure trends, executing systemic workflow updates to improve the long-term customer experience .
• Multi-Tier Stakeholder Interlock: Serve as the primary operational link, communicating status queries fluently across carrier partners, fulfillment hubs, and technical business groups .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative or technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics .
• Spreadsheet Competency: Solid functional command over Microsoft Excel data routines to organize schedules, track milestones, and map compliance metrics .
• Logistics Grounding: Possesses a foundational structural understanding of supply chain flows, transportation parameters, or inventory movements .
• Preferred Value-Adds: Proven history managing task prioritizations, complex operational schedules, or meeting narrow time-management deadlines under pressure .
• Core Soft Skills: Clear written and verbal business storytelling habits, exceptional responsiveness to immediate issues, and complete comfort collaborating across technical and executive levels .
