WebSphere Administrator Job at Wipro Mumbai | 3–5 Years Experience

Wipro is hiring a WebSphere Administrator for its Mumbai office. As a WebSphere Administrator at Wipro, you will be responsible for maintaining application servers, resolving infrastructure issues, handling service requests, and ensuring systems meet defined service level agreements (SLAs). You will work closely with internal technical teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain system stability, and provide timely support to business users.

• Monitor and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server environments.
• Resolve software, hardware, server, and network-related service requests within SLA timelines.
• Install, configure, and support enterprise applications and infrastructure components.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor system health, maintain backups, and ensure high availability of business applications.
• Coordinate with on-site and cross-functional technical teams to resolve complex production issues.
• Track support tickets from creation to closure while maintaining proper documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Administration or enterprise application server support.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience in incident management, server monitoring, troubleshooting, and SLA-based support.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and application server architecture.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts or production support environments whenever required.
