About Zoom
Zoom Meetings (commonly shortened to Zoom, and stylized as zoom) is a proprietary videotelephony software program developed by Zoom Video Communications. The free plan allows up to 100 concurrent participants, with a 40-minute time restriction. Users have the option to upgrade by subscribing to a paid plan. The highest plan supports up to 1,000 concurrent participants for meetings lasting up to 30 hours.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a major increase in the use of Zoom for remote work, distance education, and online social relations. The increase led to Zoom being one of the most downloaded mobile apps worldwide in 2020 with over 500 million downloads. In 2020, Zoom had over 300 million daily meeting participants.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop analytics solutions from gathering requirements, establishing key metrics, building data models, creating dashboards, and analyzing data to extract insights
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to collaborate on strategy, tactics, and to present findings
Unlock new opportunities for growth by discovering insights, automating processes, and identifying trends
Write efficient SQL code and build effective data models to fuel analytical frameworks and dashboards
Strong storytelling: distill interesting and hard-to-find insights into a compelling story
Build/modify/maintain dashboards and reports to regularly communicate key product metrics, sales metrics, and KPIs
Eligibility
Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative field such as analytics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science
3+ years of professional experience in a data-driven, analytical role
Experience working independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
Experience in quantitative analysis
Demonstrated strong communication skills
Proficiency in SQL
Experience building intuitive dashboards, preferably Tableau
