Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking a highly entrepreneurial, results-driven Category Manager, Personal Care Appliances to join our Buying, Planning, & Instock Management team in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating as the absolute business owner for this high-growth sub-category, this position owns the strategic product roadmap, end-to-end P&L delivery, top-tier brand relationships, and digital customer experiences across Amazon's e-commerce platform .
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Full P&L Architecture Ownership: Take absolute accountability for margin structures, revenue targets, pricing strategies, and budget lines for assigned sub-categories .
- Strategic Selection Expansion: Partner alongside top-tier sellers and corporate vendors to source unique product selection and optimize product catalogs .
- Traffic Conversion Optimization: Track marketplace metrics to launch relevant promotional constructs and marketing campaigns that boost product detail page click-through speeds .
- Macro Environment Diagnostics: Ingest competitive market trends, customer inputs, and external datasets to build strategic business forecasting models .
- Stakeholder Relationship Governance: Act as the primary commercial link between external brand matrices and internal platform development towers .
- Inventory & Compliance Management: Deep dive into stock availability metrics and supply timelines to optimize product lifecycle flows and ensure high item availability .
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Domain Business Experience: Minimum of 3 years of verified, non-internship professional history explicitly spent handling retail procurement, operations, product management, or business consulting .
- Commercial Negotiation Track: 3 or more years of proven background closing vendor agreements, managing pricing matrices, and executing financial risk reviews .
- Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: 3+ years of direct technical experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and reporting software tools to pull and manipulate large data sets .
- Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor's degree from an accredited or recognized university platform .
