Data Platform Architect

TaskUs is seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Architect to serve as the lead designer and technical authority for our modern data ecosystem in Chennai (Remote). This strategic role requires 8+ years of deep experience delivering production-grade Lakehouse environments for high-concurrency environments. You will own platform design, decouple data setups to eliminate proprietary vendor lock-in, establish CI/CD pipeline frameworks, maintain Architectural Decision Records (ADR), and orchestrate FinOps to ensure optimal cloud spending footprint efficiency. Technical fluency with Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, dbt, PySpark, Airflow, and Kubernetes is critical.
