Job Description

Amazon is hiring HR Administrator – Central Time Keeping (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) for its Hyderabad office. As an HR Administrator, you will support Amazon's Central Time Keeping Team, providing back-office HR support for employees across global operations. The role involves maintaining employee attendance records, processing HR transactions, managing HR information systems, preparing reports, handling employee queries, and ensuring accurate HR data management while maintaining confidentiality and operational excellence.

This position is best suited for candidates with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, experience working with HR systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and verify employee attendance and time recording information within internal HR systems.
  • Process employee leave requests, time-off records, and attendance-related transactions accurately.
  • Manage employee personal information and HR records in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Prepare and deliver HR reports, statistics, and operational data for internal stakeholders.
  • Support HR teams by maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Handle HR-related requests from employees, managers, and internal departments.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality while processing sensitive employee information.
  • Participate in HR process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional HR teams to ensure timely completion of HR operations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) while maintaining high productivity and service quality.
  • Support business objectives by ensuring timely processing of HR administrative activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HR Administration, Shared Services, or related roles.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with HR systems such as MyTime, OnBase, ICIMS, HireRight, Salesforce, PeoplePortal, FCLM, Labor Scheduler, AMP Tool, or Ticketing platforms.
  • Experience working in HR Shared Services or Global Business Services environments.
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms and employee record management.
  • Experience handling large datasets, reporting, or HR analytics.
  • Exposure to process improvement initiatives and operational excellence practices.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and data validation skills.
