IT Support Associate

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate for its Fulfillment Center operations in Maharashtra. This full-time opportunity is ideal for IT professionals with experience in desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, networking, and system administration. As an IT Support Associate, you will provide first-level technical support to warehouse operations, ensuring business-critical IT infrastructure remains reliable and operational.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, maintain network devices, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve operational incidents. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level IT support for Fulfillment Center operations and internal users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
• Support desktop computers, laptops, scanners, handheld devices, thin clients, and Zebra thermal printers.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues involving LAN, switches, routers, and wireless devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks on IT equipment.
• Assist with user account administration, access management, and system configuration.
• Perform data cabling, hardware replacements, and workstation setup.
• Document incidents, root cause analyses, and technical resolutions accurately.
• Mentor Technical Support Technicians and assist with day-to-day IT operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize operational downtime.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems in a corporate environment.
• Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience maintaining Zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and handheld devices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work rotational shifts in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise IT support tools.
• Exposure to ITIL processes, asset management, and help desk operations.
• Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments is an added advantage.
