Process Assistant

The Process Assistant is responsible for ensuring that daily operational goals are achieved while mentoring associates, maintaining standard operating procedures, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations within the Amazon Fulfillment Center.
• Allocate work and assign daily tasks to warehouse associates based on operational requirements.
• Monitor employee productivity, attendance, quality, and safety performance throughout the shift.
• Coach and mentor associates to achieve operational targets and improve overall performance.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within committed timelines.
• Track operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor inventory counts, problem-solving queues, and workflow status.
• Prepare and execute training plans for new and existing associates.
• Conduct daily 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and 5S workplace audits to ensure operational efficiency and workplace safety.
• Maintain compliance with Amazon's quality standards, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Support Area Managers in workforce planning, shift execution, and operational reporting.
• Act as the point of contact for associates during shifts and resolve operational issues proactively.
• Generate operational reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• High School (12th Pass), Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and rotational schedules if required.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of inventory management and fulfillment center processes.
• Experience handling productivity, quality, and operational metrics.
• Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
