Job Description

Amazon India (ASSPL) is hiring a highly execution-focused and technically accomplished Reliability & Maintenance Engineer, RME Coordinator to anchor our facility engineering unit in New Delhi / Haryana . This critical hardware operations role centers on building complex preventive maintenance programs, managing third-party technical contractors, and debugging high-velocity material processing systems to secure peak warehouse machinery availability .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Automation & Conveyor Engineering: Overhaul, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical conveyor setups across distribution networks .
  • Power Distribution Control: Install, maintain, and check facility power networks, branch circuits, transformers, and heavy wiring assemblies safely .
  • Control Systems Triage: Isolate faults within relay logic, photo eyes, proximity sensors, frequency inverters, solenoids, servo drives, and encoders .
  • PLC Ladder Logic Diagnostics: Read, trace, and utilize complex programmable logic controller patterns to isolate computing module errors and Ethernet communication drops .
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Raise corporate purchase requisitions, finalize quotes, and coordinate directly with external service contractors to execute on-site fixes .
  • Technician Bench Mentorship: Formulate custom training frameworks, deliver performance feedback logs, and guide junior technicians to hit site key indicators .
  • PPM Program Development: Architect rigid facility-level predictive checklists and preserve compliance document records to eliminate unexpected breakdown runtimes .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Core Academic Domain: Valid background validation specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, or Instrumentation & Control engineering systems .
  • Preferred Tenure Focus: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience explicitly focused on high-speed industrial material handling conveyances, PLC hardware, or integrated control loops .
