SDE2, CHEX [Software Development Engineer II]

Amazon Dev Center India is seeking an expert SDE2, CHEX for the AFT Inbound Foundations and Routing (IBFR) team in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi. This role involves designing and implementing software services to manage inventory across over 570 fulfillment centers globally.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Architect, build, and deploy high-volume, resilient backend software services from scratch.
• Create fault-tolerant, low-latency distributed systems.
• Interface warehouse systems with sortation and SCOT engines for inventory planning.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including code quality, testing, and operations.
• Collaborate with operations teams and developers in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and scaling.
• 3+ years of experience in the video games industry (live ops, release, or development).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
