Senior Staff Software Engineer (DataLake)

Druva is building its Data Lake platform to help enterprises manage massive datasets securely. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead the design and implementation of core services that process petabytes of data across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.

Your work focuses on creating robust, scalable systems that enable real-time analytics and governance. Key responsibilities include developing high-quality software architecture, collaborating with product management to define technical requirements, and driving feature delivery through agile sprints.

You'll work closely with product architects to propose design improvements and ensure seamless integration of new AWS services. The role emphasizes ownership of end-to-end service delivery from initial design through deployment and monitoring.

Required expertise includes an AI-first mindset with practical experience using generative AI tools throughout the development lifecycle—from design to code to testing. Hands-on experience designing complex distributed systems and deep knowledge of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms are essential.

Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, and Java on Linux/Unix platforms is strongly preferred. A strong understanding of system design patterns and performance optimization will also be valuable.
