Job Description

Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking a highly skilled, system-oriented SLP Expert, INTL to drive our regional logistics security practice across key corporate infrastructure hubs including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Delhi . Operating as a critical individual contributor within the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) framework, this cross-mile leadership role owns end-to-end security operations, physical asset protection, data-driven fraud investigations, and crisis mitigation workflows across assigned regional clusters .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • End-to-End Security Operations: Oversee on-site physical security infrastructure, orchestrating guarding force headcount controls, standard work distribution, control room workflows, and vendor performance monitoring via the Specter application .
  • Cluster Audits & Compliance Certifications: Execute high-rigor, binary facility security audits to identify operational cracks, collaborating directly with site operations managers to drive remedial actions and secure safety certifications .
  • Process Overhaul & Loss Prevention: Control inventory shrinkage by tracking compliance breaks during floor patrols and audits, evaluating structural risk trends, and proposing scalable tech or system updates across the logistics network .
  • Theft & Abuse Investigations: Lead internal and external investigations tracking network theft, supply chain fraud, and buyer/seller concessions abuse; analyze video surveillance files and dive deep into metrics to isolate malicious Modus Operandi (MO) patterns .
  • Crisis & Incident Management: Evaluate local and regional geopolitical or environmental risks continuously, building active business continuity frameworks and front-leading on-the-ground crisis operations according to global standards .
  • Executive Business Review Cadences: Prepare and present comprehensive security narratives, historical fraud patterns, and operational spend data maps during high-visibility Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR) .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Enterprise Security Tenure: Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience within law enforcement, military intelligence, public sector investigation, or corporate loss prevention services .
  • Investigation Strategy Depth: Demonstrated track record handling multi-party evidence collection, local law enforcement coordination, risk consulting, and building scalable physical access control parameters .
  • Preferred Technical Value-Adds: Strong functional familiarity utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate data strings, map incident matrices, build tracking formulas, and handle data visualization logs .
  • Core Soft Skills: Outstanding cross-functional stakeholder influence, elite technical storytelling traits to navigate hotly debated topics, precise data validation habits, and complete comfort managing security operations independently .
